Marianne Elliott

Professor Marianne Elliott is one of the leading Irish historians. Her previous books include the best-selling Catholics of Ulster (Penguin) and Wolfe Tone (Yale), which won the Irish Independent/Irish Life Biography Prize. She is Director of the Institute of Irish Studies at Liverpool University.
